How to Build Support for
Lean Product Development

Four Sessions: Fridays, November 12, 19, December 3, 10
Participation strictly limited to 12 per session.

NOTE: If you need immediate assistance with developing a charter, writing a proposal or building support for lean product development, you should click here for a program that will give you the help you need now.

This series of working sessions will help you develop the foundation for a lean product development program that will lead to sustainable change.

By the end of the four sessions and an optional final coaching call with Katherine, you will have the outlines of a Lean Product Development Program Charter and/or Proposal that will be nearly ready to present to senior management.

You should take this class if you are:

  • Charged with leading a lean product development initiative.
  • Responsible for developing a proposal to present to your product development leadership team to gain their support for lean product development.
  • Sponsoring a lean product development initiative.

Sessions

Sessions meet via web conference. We will set the specific time based upon participants' schedule requirements.

Dates and topics are as follows:

  • November 12: LAMDA Cycle: Why Lean Product Development?
  • November 19: Program Objectives and Measures
  • December 3: Lean PD Program Roles and Responsibilities
  • December 10: Implementation Strategies, Pilot Projects and Program Reviews

Format

Katherine will conduct each live session personally.

Participants will have access to Katherine via email during the course and for 90 days following the class to discuss how to implement course material.

Participants may ask questions and participate in class discussions by phone or through the web interface.

Each session will be recorded. The recorded presentation with slides will be distributed to the participants. Each participant will have the ability to download the recording approximately 24 hours after the session.

Live sessions begin and end promptly on the hour.

There will be homework assignments between each session, and Katherine is available by email to answer questions about the homework.

Join the series at any time. You will be sent the recordings you missed, and Katherine will work out a plan to catch you up on your homework.

Registration Options
