Lean Thinking for Front End Development

This web learning experience explores how to use lean thinking in the early stages of product development, from product strategy development through concept evaluation and chartering.

It is best for:

  • People who manage strategic marketing and advanced research teams.
  • Product development leaders who have direct responsibility for product strategy, portfolio decisions and management reviews.
  • Senior researchers and marketing professionals.

  • December 11, 2009: Lean Product Strategy Development
  • January 8, 2010: Lean Product and Technology Roadmaps
  • January 29, 2010: Concept Papers and Lean Program Charters
  • February 12, 2010: Voice of the Customer in Early PD
  • March 12, 2010: Lean Concept Evaluation
  • April 2, 2010: Lean Product Portfolio Management
  • April 16, 2010: Organizational Structures for Lean Product Development

Format

Katherine will conduct each live session personally. All sessions are on Friday mornings at 8:00 a.m. Pacific / 11 a.m. Eastern / 1700 CET for one hour.

Each session will be recorded. The recorded presentation with slides will be distributed to the participants. Each participant will have the ability to download the recording.

There will be homework assignments between each session, and Katherine is available by email to answer questions about the homework.

Join the series at any time. You will be sent the recordings you missed, and Katherine will work out a plan to catch you up on your homework.

  • Team Registration - Three or More for $595 each, registered at the same time.
